New photos!
Here are the photos from my latest photo assignment: They are all of people out and about on the streets of Harvard Square, here in Cambridge.

This last one is my favorite. I like the subtle creepiness of the guy in the foreground watching the others in the distance and how the shadow cast on the wall is not of the thing in front of it...weird lighting in this moment.

your photos remind me of old italian cinema.

and wow, I love that mismatch shadow, and yeah, the guy's... head shape is very... peculiar.

I've some new photos coming from this film-movie shoot. I got a couple amazing photos of a fav local actor, in complete makeup by an amazing makeup fx artist. totally took the time to pose for me and all. later, there's talk of them having me on to shoot the FANTASTICAL best visual fx ever (in my opinion anyway)... of the classic 'ghost' in the water tank floating effect. I've always wanted to see that in person! and... they're potentially looking into getting myself an underwater case for my camera o_o I hope that doesn't mean me swimming cause I dunno how.. maybe I can do a snorkel?

all skin makeup, hairs, tummy weight, just awesome...

That makeup looks great! Very real. And wow, classic underwater floating ghost effects! AAAAMazing. Definitely get to do that yeah!
And old italian cinema eh? Well I do love me some italian neorealism. The bicycle thieves! Now there's a movie. Ahaha, yes.
And his head iiiis weird. It's got sort of a 'reverse nosferatu' thing going on, if that makes any sense!

bicycle thief.. fellini... ah ya know.. (to me its a totally distinctive, atmospheric style with a bit of avantgarde documentary thrown in - cinema verite ? )

reverse nosferatu, you're exactly right. and what's that little weird creature's name that follows around the mad-sciency doctor on south park? that, too, if you remember.

when I pull through this filmy stuff I'll have to call you with some new filmmaking learnings!
